If Akshay Kumar was not a film star today, he'd probably be a Karate trainer going by the name of Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia. He inherited the
name at birth and the passion for the martial arts when he was in
class eight. His first tryst with the camera was when he modelled in an ad for a furniture store. On the day his picture was first published in a film weekly, he woke up his mother excitedly at 5 a.m. and the two of them cried together at his accomplishment. “You'll go a long way,” she promised him, and her prophecy came true.
